I’m Tara, and after 26 years in the salon industry—as an employee, salon owner, and booth renter—I’ve experienced many of the same challenges, pivots, and growing pains that salon professionals face every day.

The Chair Creative was created to be a supportive space for hairstylists and salon owners navigating business, marketing, creativity, and growth in an industry that’s constantly evolving.

Over the years, I became deeply interested in the marketing side of building a salon business. That passion eventually led me to earn my associate’s degree in marketing, along with Google-certified digital marketing and e-commerce certifications, so I could better understand how modern marketing and online visibility work.

More than anything, I want this space to feel encouraging, honest, and helpful. A place where salon professionals can learn, grow, feel inspired, and realize they don’t have to figure everything out alone.
